As a Hospitalist Physician at Delphi Healthcare, you will play a vital role in managing the care of hospitalized patients and ensuring seamless communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for hospitalized patients, including admitting, rounding, and discharging.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
  • Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
  • Educate patients and families on their conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred.
  • Active medical license to practice in New York State.
  • Experience in a hospitalist or inpatient care setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Commitment to continuous education and embracing advancements in medical care.
  • Work 12 hr shifts 7am-7p or 7p-7a
