The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to increase revenue, grow market share, and build strong client relationships. This position is a dual property role, and will oversee all sales aspects for the Home2 Suites Calera, as well as the Hampton Inn Calera.
What You Will Do
· Identify, qualify and maintain strong relationships with local and regional sources of business to achieve sales, revenue, and market share goals.
· Participate in annual negotiations with local, and national key accounts.
· Participate in the annual RFP process.
· Participate in strategy related decisions and successfully implement them.
· Efficiently handle group inquiries, including quoting rates, availability, executing contracts and entering that information into the appropriate system (Delphi, PEP).
· Participate in weekly revenue management strategy meetings to assist with hotel pricing and the revenue optimization process.
· Hotels operate 24/7/365. Be prepared to work front desk shifts as needed/scheduled or anything else to ensure the success of the operation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or 5 years of hotel experience
· Sales experience within the hotel industry is preferred.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
