A warm and welcoming private family located in Bryn Mawr, PA, with a summer residence in Longport, NJ, is looking to hire a dedicated and professional House Manager (who can also cook simple meals) to join their household. Household Staff: The Private Cook / House Manager will work independently and coordinate with outside vendors
Responsibilities
Private Cook Duties

Prepare fresh, healthy lunches and dinners daily during the week

Cook for small dinner parties and occasional casual gatherings (especially during the summer season)

Grocery shopping and maintaining pantry inventory
House Management & Personal Assistant Duties

Coordinate home maintenance, including scheduling with gardeners, pool services, and repair technicians

Manage household supplies and inventory

Oversee the care and upkeep of the executive’s car collection; ensure vehicles are serviced, cleaned, and fueled

Provide occasional chauffeuring (e.g., airport runs, trips to NYC)

Greet guests and answer household phone

Maintain fresh flowers and houseplants

Manage wine inventory: receive shipments, organize wine cellar, and update computer records

Keep accurate records of household spending and receipts

Assist with technology troubleshooting (iPhones, iPads, computers, printers)

Prepare home for the owners' return from travel with stocked fridge and fresh meals
Summer Season (Longport, NJ)

Travel with the family (typically Thursday to Sunday)

Prepare and serve meals including dinner parties for up to 10 guests and Sunday brunches

Separate private condo provided for use while at the shore

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a private cook or household manager

Strong culinary skills with a focus on fresh, healthy meals

Valid driver’s license and comfort driving in city and suburban settings

Tech-savvy with ability to troubleshoot basic devices

Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Legal to work in the U.S. and able to pass background and reference checks
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time; 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, five days per week
