Why This Role Exists As the company grows, payroll and HR administrative demands have increased. This role centralizes execution, improves consistency, and allows leadership to focus on strategic priorities. Description This role ensures payroll accuracy, maintains employee records and documentation, supports onboarding and benefits administration, and helps keep HR processes organized, compliant, and running smoothly. Role Summary This is an execution-focused role designed to centralize HR and payroll administration within a growing company. Schedule ~15‑25 hours per week. This position follows a consistent weekly schedule. Specific days and hours will be mutually agreed upon, with flexibility to design a schedule that supports both the employee and business needs. Compensation $30 – $40/hour (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities Prepare and process bi‑weekly payroll in Paylocity Review timecards, PTO, deductions, and payroll changes Serve as primary contact for employee HR and payroll inquiries Administer onboarding and offboarding workflows Maintain employee records, acknowledgments, and documentation Track benefits eligibility and enrollment timing Support HR compliance (posters, notices, handbook updates) Coordinate administrative aspects of recruiting, including job postings, interview scheduling, offer documentation, and onboarding preparation Maintain organization of HR systems, files, and checklists Final payroll approval and policy decisions remain with leadership. Success in This Role Looks Like Payroll processed accurately and on time HR and benefits deadlines met Employee questions handled professionally Records and documentation kept organized Compliance items maintained Requirements 1–4 years experience in HR, payroll, or administrative support Payroll processing experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized and reliable Professional communication skills Comfortable handling confidential information #J-18808-Ljbffr
