Human Resources - Jamestown, ND - HR Associate Help the largest state agency maximize its service to vulnerable North Dakotans. The North Dakota Department of Human Services is seeking a Human Resources Associate. As an HR Associate , you will be asked to draw upon established guidelines and guidance from senior level staff to respond to and provide assistance on a variety of human resource questions and situations. You will become a part of a team that provides comprehensive onboarding experience for team members. This includes conducting new team member orientation, explaining benefits and the benefit enrollment process. You will work to maintain and create a smooth process for recruiting, interviewing, payroll concerns and offboarding. You'll also work closely with the HR Business Partner and HR Generalist to sustain the company's productivity and support a healthy workplace, ensuring employees are satisfied and successful. To succeed in this position You should be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively and have demonstrated ability to communicate HR policy and best practices with diverse groups of stakeholders. You should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships while working independently and within a team. To be considered for this position You must have a bachelor's degree preferably in a related field, OR a combination of education and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of HR. Work Location This position is onsite at the North Dakota State Hospital. Some travel may be expected.
