HR Executive (People Partnering) Apply
Job PurposeTo serve as the primary HR consultant to the Business Unit and Shared Corporate Functions. The HR Executive executes HR initiatives that align with automotive retail business goals, such as EV adoption, sales targets, upskilling, and transformation, as well as corporate efficiency objectives.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Business PartneringBrand BU: Partner with the Managing Director and General Managers of Sales/Aftersales to translate business goals (e.g., EV adoption, sales targets, upskilling & transformation) into HR initiatives.Corporate Functions: Work with Department Heads (Finance, IT, Marketing, Legal, HR) to optimize organizational structure and workforce planning.Advisory: Provide coaching and guidance to Line Managers on organizational design, succession planning, and change management.2. Talent Acquisition & Manpower PlanningVolume & Niche Hiring: Oversee recruitment strategies for diverse roles, from Sales Consultants and Technicians (Aftersales) to specialized Corporate Executives.Pipeline Management: Build a talent pipeline for critical operational roles to minimize downtime in the workshop and showroom.Onboarding: Design engaging onboarding experiences that cater to different employee demographics (frontline vs. office).Cross Deployment: Partner with other BUs to review and talent manage for cross deployment within the Group.3. Performance & Rewards ManagementCompensation Management: Collaborate with Line Managers to review and manage competitive compensation structures in line with internal equity.Performance Culture: Drive the annual performance appraisal process, ensuring that KPIs are set objectively and that "underperformance" is managed legally and effectively.Calibration: Ensure consistency in grading and promotions across the disparate business units.4. Employee Relations & EngagementGrievance Handling: Act as the first point of escalation for complex employee relations issues, conducting investigations and disciplinary inquiries in compliance with the Employment Act and MOM guidelines.Retention: Analyse turnover data (specifically within the sales and technical teams) to develop targeted retention strategies.Culture: Bridge the cultural gap between the dynamic, sales-driven environment of the showroom and the process-driven corporate office.5. HR Operations & ComplianceEnsure 100% compliance with Singapore labour laws (Employment Act, WSH, TAFEP).Analyse HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, absenteeism) and present monthly dashboards to business leaders with actionable insights.Experience:Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist or Business Partnering experience.Prior experience in Automotive, Retail, FMCG, or Logistics is highly preferred. (Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-site environment).Experience managing a "hybrid" portfolio (Blue-collar/Frontline + White-collar/Corporate) is a distinct advantage.Skills & Competencies:Stakeholder Management: Ability to adapt instantly communicating effectively with a different working level, i.e. technicians, Group Directors, MDs, etc.Commercial Acumen: Understands how a car dealership manages its P&L (Margins, COE impact, Aftersales absorption) and how HR impacts the bottom line.Resilience: Able to thrive in a high-pressure environment with demanding internal customers.Labour Law: Deep knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and Industrial Relations.Qualification:A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Accreditation with SHRM or IHRP equivalentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
