Cloudpoint Geospatial is a leading geospatial services firm specializing in Geographic Information Systems for clients throughout the U.S.  We have seen exciting growth over the past three years and are currently in search of a motivated HR Generalist who’s ready to take their career to the next level.  HR duties and administrative tasks to support daily business operations such as bi-weekly payroll, human resource activities, benefits administration, recruiting, and more.  This position will begin with a part-time role and expand into full-time as the company grows.  

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Administer semi-monthly payroll processing using third party vendor and maintain appropriate records in the vendor’s portal
  • Administer various HR functions including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance
  • Coordinate the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and extending job offers
  • Perform benefits administration to include open enrollment, communication of benefit information to employees, and verifying eligibility
  • Organizing and managing employee records, maintaining applications, résumés, and applicant logs
  • Coordinating orientation and training sessions for employees 
  • Working with third parties on policy formulation and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Assisting with salary administration and explaining benefit programs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Desired Qualifications:

  • SHRM Certified Professional or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience working with Workable or Paychex platforms

Work Context:

  • Frequent work operating a computer in an office (or home office) setting  
  • Frequently sedentary with occasional lifting light weight items < 30lbs
  • Frequently communicates with coworkers and must be able to clearly exchange accurate information in these situations
