Your new company A fintech firm is looking for a HR Manager/DirectorYour new role The core responsibilities of the HR Manager are as follows: HR Strategy & Policy Developmento Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks aligned withlegal and regulatory requirements and organisational needs.o Establish scalable HR frameworks suitable for a growing startup.o Advise management on HR best practices and people-related matters.o Support HR‑related inputs for Board and stakeholder discussions, including policies, workforceplanning, and governance matters.o Ensure compliance with local labour laws and employment regulations. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planningo Partner with leadership to define role profiles, capability requirements, and successionconsiderations as the organisation scales.o Lead end-to-end recruitment processes (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding).o Work with management to plan workforce needs and hiring timelines.o Develop employer branding and candidate experience strategies.o Manage relationships with recruiters and hiring platforms where needed. Performance Management & Compensationo Design and implement performance appraisal frameworks.o Support the executive team and Board on compensation structures, benchmarking, and rewardstrategies.o Administer annual performance review cycles and salary reviews.o Ensure performance management frameworks reinforce NGP's values, behaviours, and collaborativeculture.o Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback and development planning. HR Operationso Oversee onboarding and offboarding processeso Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentationo Manage payroll coordination, leave administration, and benefits administrationo Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives Additional Responsibilities (as required in a lean organisation)These responsibilities are expected to be ad hoc and secondary to the core HR mandate.o Provide administrative support where needed in a lean startup environment.o Assist in internal communications and staff announcements.o Support preparation and coordination of press releases and media materials.o Help ensure consistent corporate messaging in collaboration with leadership.What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success, as you will ideally have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field 8-10+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience Prior experience in startups or small, fast-growing organisations strongly preferred Proven experience developing HR policies and building HR functions from the ground up Familiarity with local labour laws and compliance requirements Exposure to regulated environments, financial services, or public‑sector‑linked organisations is anadvantageWhat you'll get in return You will be given the chance to continuously grow in the company due to the expanding business entity, whilst being a part of the team in the growing business.
