We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Manager to oversee human resources initiatives within our organization. The role will involve overseeing recruitment and onboarding, managing employee relations, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and fostering employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in human resources, be knowledgeable about labor laws, and have a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain the HRIS system, ensuring employee files are accurate and up to date.
  • Administer FMLA and workplace accommodations in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Stay up to date with labor laws, communicating changes to management and updating policies as needed.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, including workplace investigation and addressing grievances.
  • Provide training and development for managers and employees, including coaching managers on complex issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a generalized HR role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Previous experience in an HR leadership role preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
