Overview HR Payroll Administrator (Administrative) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Onsite) Location: Corporate Headquarters, Battle Creek, MI About the Role Were looking for a tech-savvy HR professional who enjoys working with data and systems to join our mission-driven organization. This role is the primary user and administrator of our HRIS (UKG) and the go-to person for payroll and workforce reporting. If youre energized by clean data, accurate payroll, Excel reporting, and finding smarter ways to work—including using AI tools—this role was built for you. What Youll Do Serve as the primary HRIS and Time & Attendance power user (UKG) Prepare, run, audit, and deliver payroll and employee data reports using UKG and Excel Maintain and validate HR and payroll data for accuracy, compliance, and deadlines Process employee lifecycle changes related to payroll (new hires, status changes, time off, terminations) Build and maintain Excel-based reports used for payroll, audits, and internal tracking Train supervisors on HRIS use and best practices Support compliance reporting (EEO, E-Verify, VETS-4212, unemployment, as needed) Partner with HR leadership on data requests and process improvement Explore and leverage technology and AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot) to improve efficiency and reporting quality What Were Looking For Strong software proficiency in payroll, HRIS, financial, or data systems Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, reporting, data validation) Experience using UKG (HRIS and/or Time & Attendance) strongly preferred Comfort working with confidential employee and payroll data Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy Curious, problem-solving mindset and openness to using AI and new tools Ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical users #J-18808-Ljbffr
