NearU is a people-centric, process-driven, and technology-enabled customer service platform dedicated to revolutionizing the home services industry by vastly improving the customer and employee experience. 
 
The HR Program Manager will be a key member of our team, you will partner with our Regional and Branch teams to drive several key initiatives that support our HR strategy. We will be looking to you to be responsible for driving the operationalization of our HR strategy, running multiple projects, ensuring alignment in developing scalable HR processes and programs that support growth and transformation.
 
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate assigned HR programs and initiatives.
  • Effectively manage HR projects – Develop project tracking, work on multiple workstreams, communicate and manage others within the project team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HR programs with business objectives.
  • Assess programs effectiveness through HR metrics and analytics.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for program-related inquires and develop and deploy program communication.
  • Build strong relationships with regional and branch employees at all levels to gather insights for current and future programs.
  • Identify, design, develop, and/or implement learning and development programs that support the full employment lifecycle, including onboarding, professional and career development, manager essentials and leadership development.
  • Develop, implement and manage a technical license program in collaboration with branch leadership.
  • Manage employee surveys
  • Manage the company wide performance, compensation and talent management programs and processes.

Requirements
  • 7+ years’ experience in human resources; specific experience in managing HR programs and training initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal oversight
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, leadership presence, demeanor, ethics and image of self and subordinates
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and document management systems
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or other related field, or extensive experience within HR.
  • Experience working within a HR Information System
  • Travel will be minimal for gathering program feedback and roll outs.
 



Scorecard/Objectives


Improve the employee experience resulting in an 8% decrease in voluntary turnover.  (Weighted 50%)
 
    • Develop and roll out On-boarding program by Q2
    • Implement Manager Essentials program in Q1
    • Lay the foundation and roll out a technician licensing process Q2
    • Rollout of internal communication program
      • Standard Employee Announcement Jan. 2025
      • Assess a App based communication tool Q2/Q3
      • Format/cadence for local branch townhall – cascade of NearU updates Q2
      • General Newsfeed update
           
Streamline/standardize Compensation Programs to increase efficiency and clarity to employees. (Weighted 30%)
 
    • Assist in the development and rollout of a more structured commission plan. Q1
    • Assist in the transition from a anniversary to annual merit process May 2025.
    • Development of guardrails for compensation in management roles

Talent plan at management levels to develop successors within Branch and Field management (weighted 20%)
 
  • Support the implementation of the Talent Review process Q3
  • Implement Hi-Po development plans and manage internal program
