Job Description This HRIS Analyst role offers the opportunity to serve as the primary UKG expert for a growing organization, providing hands‑on support to HR and Finance in a fully onsite, Monday–Friday environment. You will stabilize and optimize day‑to‑day HRIS operations, enhance data integrity and reporting, and help the organization better understand and leverage the full capabilities of its UKG platform. This is a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire position, ideal for a proactive, implementation‑focused professional who enjoys working cross‑functionally and driving continuous system improvement within a mission‑driven, growth‑oriented environment. Responsibilities Serve as the primary UKG subject‑matter expert, providing daily system support to HR and Finance teams. Partner cross‑functionally with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and efficient end‑to‑end workflows. Configure, maintain, and continuously optimize UKG modules to align with organizational needs and evolving processes. Take a hands‑on approach to assessing current system usage and identifying opportunities to better leverage existing UKG functionality. Troubleshoot system issues, respond to user questions, and recommend process improvements to enhance the user experience. Support the creation, maintenance, and delivery of HR and Finance reports, audits, and data analysis using UKG. Identify, recommend, and help implement opportunities to improve system efficiency, user adoption, and scalability. Document system processes, configurations, enhancements, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuity. Collaborate closely with HR and Finance on HRIS‑related projects, including implementations, enhancements, and optimizations. Support adherence to human resources policies and administrative procedures through accurate system configuration and data management. Essential Skills Proven experience working with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) in an HRIS Analyst or similar HRIS‑focused role. Strong understanding of HRIS systems, including data structures, configuration, and core system functionality. Background or exposure to HR, Payroll, Finance, or accounting‑related system workflows. Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or optimizations within an HRIS environment. Ability to step into the role quickly and deliver immediate, hands‑on value to HR and Finance stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable improvements. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Comfort working in a collaborative, fully onsite environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience acting as a system owner or primary subject‑matter expert for UKG or similar HRIS platforms. Demonstrated ability to support cross‑functional HR and Finance system initiatives and projects. Implementation‑focused mindset with a strong orientation toward continuous improvement and process optimization. Familiarity with human resources policies and administrative practices and how they translate into HRIS configuration. Experience documenting system processes, configurations, and best practices for cross‑functional users. Ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders and drive user adoption of HRIS tools and features. Work Environment This role is based fully onsite in Connecticut, working Monday through Friday in a collaborative office environment. You will work closely with HR and Finance teams and spend much of your time within the UKG HRIS platform and related reporting tools. The setting supports frequent cross‑functional interaction, hands‑on system work, and real‑time collaboration to address issues and implement improvements. Pay And Benefits Pay range: $40.87 – $43.27/hr.
