Human Resources Coordinator – Bay State Community Services We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. This role supports daily HR operations, ensures a smooth experience for employees, applicants, and partners, and contributes to mission‑driven services for families and communities. Responsibilities Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations Support HR projects, trainings, and process improvements Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely, professional support Process Employee Tuition Assistance Requests Organize and record all staffing trainings and certification completions Schedule: Monday – Friday 9a-5p (In Person) Benefits Blue Cross and Blue Shield Health and Dental Insurance Eye‑Med Vision Benefits Employer Paid Life and Long‑Term Disability Insurance Medical Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Account Employee Assistance Program 35 Days Paid Time Off (15 Vacation Days, 12 Holidays including Juneteenth and 8 Sick Days) Retirement Plan 403(b) (employer match after the first year of employment) Opportunities for Student Loan Forgiveness Tuition Assistance Mileage reimbursement Extensive Training Program Monthly Agency Wide Trainings (includes CEU's for obtaining/retaining license - LMHC, LMFT, LADC, CARC, LCSW and LICSW) Supervision for Licensure and Specializations Immediate Access to Comprehensive Online Self‑Paced CEU Trainings Opportunities for Certification in Evidence Based Practices Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, HR Management, Public Administration, etc. preferred A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Must be proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and HRIS platform like Paylocity Must be a self‑starter with high energy level and ability to multi‑task and re‑prioritize based on needs of the programs we serve Strong customer service focus and ability to deliver responses based on customer needs Experience or desire to work in a non‑profit environment a plus Ability to maintain strict confidentiality a must Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Bay State Community Services is an equal opportunity employer.
