Position Summary
The Human Resource Director is responsible for all areas of home health care employees. This individual directly interfaces with the applicant with the recruiting, training and retention process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Human resource development: Managing programs and ensuring company standards are maintained
Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
Analyze employment- related data and prepare required reports.
Benefits and compensation: Providing advantages to employees based on performance and activities
Hiring and recruitment: Writing job descriptions, screening and advertising openings, conducting interviews and exit interviews and ensure necessary employment termination paperwork Is completed.
Maintaining employee records: Helping identify skill gaps, analyze demographic data, and comply with regulations
Business performance management: Monitoring and improving employee performance
Occupational safety and health: Ensuring the health and safety of employees, and ensuring employers adhere to labor laws and workplace regulations
Maintain employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Complete onboarding and off boarding processes for new and departing employees
Perform data entry and filing of all HR related documents
Assist with HR projects, such as creating employee handbooks and updating job descriptions
Manage employee attendance records and vacation requests
Provide support to the HR team with tasks various tasks as needed
Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Other duties as assigned.
Performing other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required
  • Masters Preferred
  • SHRM Certification (Society for Human Resource Management) preferred
  • Three to five years of HR generalist experience partnering directly with senior leadership
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Knowledge of basic HR functions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR databases

Weekly schedule:
  • Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
