Summary And Objective The HR Generalist supports the Human Resources Department with a focus on full-cycle recruitment and additional responsibilities in HR administration, employee relations, and culture development. This role also encompasses a wide range of HR generalist duties as needed. Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for all open positions at flyExclusive. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specific skills and competencies required for each role. Develop and implement recruitment plans, tools, and innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of high-caliber candidates. Pre‑screen candidates through a combination of behavioral and competency‑based interviewing techniques. Route and monitor requisition and offer requests from departmental hiring managers. Coordinate travel arrangements for candidates during the interview and onboarding processes if necessary. Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates throughout their recruitment journey. Track and update candidate information using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Ensure candidates successfully complete all pre‑employment requirements, including drug screenings, background checks, and other regulatory obligations. Coordinate recruitment events, including job fairs, college events, community engagements, and industry‑related events, representing flyExclusive. Handle entry‑level HR administrative tasks, such as managing incoming calls, maintaining the HR email inbox, and processing mail related to workers' compensation, employment verification, and unemployment claims. Perform routine tasks in the administration and execution of HR programs, including compensation, leave management, performance and talent management, and employee recognition. Assist the Senior HR Business Partner, HR Business Partner, and Senior HR Generalist with employee relations tasks, including conducting exit interviews and managing employee relations issues. Attend and participate in HR meetings, providing administrative support as needed. Communicate proactively with HR colleagues and company leadership to achieve professional, legal, and ethical business objectives. Assist in gathering HR metrics, such as time‑to‑hire and employee turnover/attrition rates, to inform HR strategies and decisions. Maintain and update organizational structure documentation, including job requirements and job descriptions within SharePoint and the HRIS. Create, maintain, and update HR policies and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization. Assist with conducting new hire orientations and managing the onboarding process for new employees. Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS entries to ensure up‑to‑date information. Provide guidance and coaching to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems to enhance overall HR operations. Perform other duties assigned by the VP of HR or Sr. HR BP. Skills And Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks. Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and talent management systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Competencies Microsoft Office Suites Proficient in Excel HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Applicant Tracking System Work Environment Typical office environment with exposure to noise from airplane machinery and jet engines. Physical Demands Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds.
