Human Resource Intern Apply
Overview The HR Intern will support the Human Resources department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and administrative tasks. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in HR processes and contribute to projects that impact the workforce. Internship Details Location: Burton, Ohio (on‑site) Duration: Approximately 10–12 weeks (summer) Schedule: Full‑time preferred Compensation: $25.00 per hour. Mentorship: Direct support from the TA team Responsibilities Assisting in sourcing and recruiting local talent, including setting up interviews, participating in interview processes, and handling follow‑up communication with candidates. Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation to introduce new employees to company culture, processes, and procedures. Assist with benefits administration and HR compliance tasks as needed. Provide support in organizing and managing employee recognition programs and celebrations. Provide administrative assistance to the HR team: preparing correspondence (emails, letters) and reports, managing electronic records, or assisting with general office duties. Complete any additional tasks or projects as assigned by the HR management team. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in an office setting or HR department is a plus. Ability to handle personal and confidential information. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of HRIS and timekeeping preferred. Strong cooperation and collaboration skills. Attention to detail, high energy, self‑motivated and self‑reliant. Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to interact well with all personality types.
