HR Manager – Upstream Oil & GasNorth Holland, Netherlands | Full-timeThe OpportunityWell-established, international upstream oil & gas operator in the Netherlands, currently navigating a major organizational transition while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, safety, and critical energy infrastructure.This is not a traditional HR role.This is a strategic leadership position at the core of the business—guiding workforce transformation across onshore and offshore environments, shaping culture, and influencing executive decision-making during a pivotal phase.Your ImpactAs HR Manager, you will own and drive the full people agenda for the Netherlands business, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while remaining hands-on where it matters.You will:Lead and execute the HR strategy aligned to business transformation Act as a strategic partner to the Management Team Guide the organization through change, restructuring, and workforce optimization Lead and develop a multidisciplinary HR team (5–6 FTE) Oversee recruitment, succession planning, and workforce strategy Ensure compliance with Dutch labor law & Works Council (WOR) Drive performance management, compensation cycles, and talent development Bridge onshore and offshore workforce dynamics Oversee internal communications and facilities, ensuring alignment across the business Collaborate closely with international HQ stakeholders What We’re Looking ForThis role requires someone who understands the complexity, pace, and stakeholder landscape of upstream oil & gas.You bring:5–10+ years of HR leadership experience within upstream oil & gas (ESSENTIAL) Proven experience in operational / industrial environments (onshore/offshore) Strong expertise in Dutch labor law and Works Council engagement Demonstrated ability to lead through change and organizational transformation Experience managing multi-disciplinary HR teams Fluency in Dutch and English A credible, pragmatic leadership style with strong influencing skills Why This Role?Direct impact on business-critical transformation Exposure to executive leadership and international stakeholders Broad scope: HR + Communications + Facilities Stable operator with long-term infrastructure focus A role where HR is truly at the decision-making table
