The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the human resources department.

• Oversee & prioritizes the workflow of the department.

• Collaborates with the SVP of HR to implement senior management’s company vision.

• Provides constructive and timely coaching and performance evaluations. • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Is skilled with labor demand planning.

• Provides support and guidance to HR team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodation, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

• Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional level roles; actively collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

• Proactively analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

• Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees & leaders.

• Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
