Human Resources Coordinator Apply
Catholic Charities Legal Services, Archdiocese of Miami, Inc. (hereafter CCLS) is a non-profit organization that represents low-income immigrants without reference to their race, religion, gender, ethnic group, or other distinguishing characteristics. CCLS is seeking a motivated, energetic, and organized Human Resources professional to join our team and carry out various human resources functions such as payroll, recruitment, onboarding process, and employee requests.

Duties:
Support human resources processes by submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates, and assisting with scheduling of job interviews.
Coordinate onboarding training sessions with IT department and program managers.
Learn the Catholic Legal Services Employee Manual and basic terminology of human resources policies, programs, and employment laws to effectively relay messages and policies; assist in the implementation of policies and procedures; ensure all human resource functions are complying with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct onboarding of new employees, create a welcoming environment for their first day on the job and give a tour to get acquainted with other staff.
Contact IT department prior to the employee's start date to request equipment to allow them to perform their work and provide technical access.
Contact accounting department to set employee cost centers prior to onboarding.
Coordinate with Supervisors and IT department during the termination process of a staff.
Coordinate recruitment and selection process and assignments of interns and volunteers.
Coordinate job postings: Attend career fairs with available supervising Attorneys to generate qualified applicants.
Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries.
Train employees on Paylocity and continuously maintain employees timecard by periodically sending emails to staff to remind them of timecard input errors and accuracy.
Coordinate with Supervisors the onboarding of volunteers and Interns.
Ensure that the company available resources are available to new hires.
Ensure that the organization is always in compliance.
Perform other Human Resources duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in HR or a related field.
At least two years related experience is required.
Be supportive of the mission of Catholic Legal Services.
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging situations.
Good time management, including the ability to manage several projects at the same time and must be able to multi-task and retain accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines.
Have a professional demeanor.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (mainly Outlook, Word, Excel).
