A fast-growing chemical manufacturing company is seeking an HR Coordinator to support day-to-day human resources functions and ensure smooth administrative operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive professional with experience in HR processes and payroll management. Working collaboratively, the new team member will support organizational effectiveness by handling core HR functions, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with employee lifecycle processes while ensuring compliance, promoting engagement, and contributing to a streamlined work environment.Salary + Additional Benefits:$50,000 - $60,000 100% Company Paid Medical Premiums401K - company matchPTO & Sick DaysLocation: Sealy, TXType of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, hiring processes, and other HR matters, escalating more complex questions to senior HR staff or management.Provide administrative and clerical support, including assistance with recruitment efforts and the maintenance of employee records.Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner.Lead the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting or assisting with new hire orientation sessions.Assist in planning and executing company events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday celebrations, and retirement parties.Complete and ensure compliance with I-9 documentation.Assist in ensuring accuracy in system records by conducting employee data audits.Support daily HR operations and tasks as needed.Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferredAt least 3 years of human resources experience, 2 years of experience with payroll processing requiredPaylocity experience is strongly desiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated and proactive – ability to work autonomouslyAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityProficient in prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlinesDue to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
