Position Overview
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will support day-to-day human resources operations, managing recruitment, employee records, performance management, compliance, and reporting.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hours: 9am- 5 pm, M-F
Hybrid: 4 days in office/1 day remote
Relocation assistance will not be provided.
Core Responsibilities
- HR & Training Dashboard Updates
- Recruitment Management: Screening applicants on Indeed/LinkedIn, preliminary interviews, communication with hotels on staffing needs (immediate & projected), managing sponsorship of posted roles (creation & deadline) to ensure appropriate recruitment costs
- Moderation of Annual and 90 Day Reviews, updating Review Tracker
- Update FT/PT Models
- Process mail and save employee documentation to personnel file in SharePoint
- Various reporting such as wage analysis, census, and retention data
- Assist the team with overflow needs such as processing new hires, terminations, and employee changes in UKG
- Provides clerical and administrative support to the HR team, and helps manage email inbox inquiries
- Assists with onsite employee events and employee culture initiatives
What we are Looking For:
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications or a similar field
- 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed and UKG
- Basic understanding of employment laws & regulations
- Familiarity with HR reporting
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to commute to the office at a minimum of 4 days a week, with an optional work from home day once a week
- Ability to travel when needed
- Ability to be around dogs and cats for an extended period of time
