Partner closely with plant leadership to drive employee engagement, workforce planning, compliance, and operational excellence while ensuring HR practices align with business and production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted HR partner to plant leadership, supervisors, and employeesSupport recruitment and onboarding for hourly and salaried manufacturing rolesProvide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance, corrective action, and conflict resolutionEnsure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, company policies, and safety standardsSupport labor relations activities where applicable (union or non-union environments)Assist with workforce planning, scheduling considerations, and talent development initiativesAdminister HR programs including benefits, leave management, timekeeping, and HRIS systemsSupport training initiatives related to leadership development, safety, and complianceAnalyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, engagement) and recommend improvementsPromote a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace cultureQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredExperience working in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or production environmentKnowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practicesAbility to support both hourly shop-floor employees and salaried leadershipStrong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on, and change-driven environmentsProficiency with HRIS, payroll, and time & attendance systemsHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) a plus
