TBest is seeking for a proactive and organized Human Resources Manager for our client, a top Home Care provider in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will be a vital partner to the HR department, focusing on recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations to support a dedicated team of caregivers. Your leadership will help ensure that HR processes run smoothly and align with the company's mission of providing high-quality home care services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire recruiting process, from job posting to candidate selection.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries, assisting employees and candidates with policies, benefits, and hiring procedures.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires and prepare orientation materials.
  • Maintain and administer employee records.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate on employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive work culture.
  • Drive HR projects including employee training, performance reviews, and compliance audits to support continuous improvement.
  • Oversee payroll functions, responding to employee inquiries and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR management role, ideally in a healthcare or home care environment.
  • Proficiency with HR software, payroll systems, and MS Office suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance a compassionate approach with the practical demands of HR in a care environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
