With an extensive inventory of equipment and a stable, skilled offshore workforce, Precon Marine is able to take on major bridge, pier, and bulkhead rehabilitation work, subaqueous utility installation as well as provide call-out services for underwater inspections and commercial diving needs. Role Overview: As a Human Resources Manager at Precon Marine Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for our skilled workforce. In this role, you will collaborate closely with management to ensure efficient human resources practices that align with our commitment to innovation and integrity. Working in our Chesapeake, Virginia office, you'll have the opportunity to foster company culture and employee engagement while driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and hiring candidates. Develop and implement HR protocols and policies that align with company values and industry standards. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. Address employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and workplace policies. Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and improve employee retention. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in human resources or related fields. Strong understanding of labor laws and employment regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus If You: Have a certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR). Have experience in the maritime or construction industries. Employment Type & Availability: This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday. Location: This position is on-site only, located in Chesapeake, Virginia.
