We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Manager to join our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively partner with various departments within the organization. The Senior HR Manager will play a critical role in retaining and developing top talent to support our company's growth and success.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Manager on the HR team at WS Development, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all aspects of the HR function, including talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance.
  • Partnering with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans to ensure adequate resources are available to meet business objectives.
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implementing performance management systems to monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and support professional development and career progression.
  • Managing employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards and company goals.
  • Staying abreast of legal and regulatory developments related to employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

A successful candidate will bring with them:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field with a record of high academic achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with expertise in areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, is essential for this role.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Capacity to effectively oversee and manage ad hoc projects i.e. coordinating resources, setting timelines, and ensuring project objectives are met efficiently.
  • Experience in managing complex employee relations issues effectively.
  • Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all aspects of HR management.
  • Desire (and ability) to laugh and have fun
