Duties

As a/an Human Resources Specialist (Employee and Labor Relations), you will:

  • Serve as the policy-level specialist and as a principal management resource, spokesperson, strategist, and practitioner in Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) and arbitration proceedings for the field facility.
  • Coordinate and monitor the Labor-Management Relations (LMR) critical incident reporting system that tracks Unfair Labor Practices (ULP), arbitration, unit petitions, significant grievances, and local supplemental and mid-term negotiations.
  • Serve as an expert in all Labor-Management Relations issues affecting management at the field facility.
  • Research pertinent laws, regulations, and case law; develops theory of defense/strategy based upon professional judgment and consultations with supervisor.

Qualifications
