Humanities Teacher (Middle and|or Upper School) Apply
Maret School is looking for an inspiring and engaging, World History teacher who possesses a growth mindset. Currently, this position is 50% but could possibly be expanded with coaching or other additional responsibilities.
Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment and passion for equity, inclusion, and belonging in all facets of their work.
As a teacher, the successful candidate will:
Possess a student-centered approach
- Have demonstrated expertise in teaching ancient and modern world history at the middle and/or upper school level;
- Have classroom experience differentiating instructional strategies;
- Have strong communication skills;
- Display excellent classroom management skills;
- Be committed to professional development and collaboration with colleagues;
- Exhibit a deep passion for teaching and interest in working with a variety of students;
- Have a minimum of three years teaching experience;
- Have an advanced degree in a related field (preferred).
