MAU is hiring an HVAC Controls Engineer for our client in Douglasville, GA. As an HVAC Controls Engineer, you will create, download, and commission control programs for custom HVAC units to meet project-specific sequence of operations and performance standards. This is a direct-hire opportunity.Benefits Package:401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offShift Information:Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMRequired Education and Experience:Technical College diploma in Air Conditioning TechnologyPreferred Education and Experience:BSEE(T) or BSME(T) degreeExperience with Building Automation Systems (e.g., Automated Logic, CPC)Familiarity with fan systems, pumps, motors, VFDs, humidifiers, furnaces, and compressorsGeneral Requirements:Basic computer skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyEssential Functions:Create controls programs based on sequence of operations, wiring diagrams, unit configuration, and project requirementsUtilize control program simulators and test panels to verify developed programsDownload programs and perform sensor and end-device checkoutTest unit operation under program control to ensure the sequence of operations is achievedProvide phone support for service and warranty calls using remote software toolsOccasionally travel to jobsites across the USA to provide service or assist in unit startupMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
