Job Description

What you will do:

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical and utility systems at one of our clients. This position performs hands‑on preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, steam systems, air compressors, pumps, and supporting infrastructure while partnering with Operations, Construction, and Commissioning teams.

**This role includes on‑call responsibilities and may require working varying shifts, including weekends. **

How you will do it:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot chiller systems including pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and refrigerant circuits
  • Support steam system operations, inspections, leak repairs, outages, and new piping ties
  • Maintain and repair air compressors, dryers, utility pumps, and related systems
  • Support construction, outages, utility tie‑ins, and commissioning activities
  • Assist with BAS/BMS monitoring, alarms, and point checks (including BACnet‑integrated systems)
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and permit‑to‑work procedures (LOTO, hot work, confined space)
  • Document maintenance activities and collaboration with technicians, contractors, and client teams

What we look for:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial/utility maintenance
  • Working knowledge of chillers, steam systems, pumps, piping, valves, and controls
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.06 - 35.79 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
