  • Experienced technicians will be provided with training towards HVAC Journeyman and Master License as well as other heating and air conditioning certifications.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities
  • Lead a 2-man residential HVAC changeout crew (you + apprentice/helper)

  • Pick up/load equipment from the warehouse or supply house and stage materials

  • Arrive onsite, greet homeowner, confirm scope of work, and protect the home/work area

  • Safely shut down, disconnect, and remove old HVAC equipment

  • Install and set up new systems including furnaces, air handlers, coils, heat pumps/condensers, thermostats

  • Complete line set connections, brazing/pressure test (as required), wiring, condensate drains, and venting adjustments

  • Perform proper evacuation, charging, and startup per manufacturer specs

  • Confirm system is running safely and reaches temperature before leaving the home

  • Train/guide the apprentice, maintain quality standards, and keep a clean jobsite

  • Complete required job documentation and closeout

Qualifications:

What You Need:

  • Ability to perform all phases of a system change-out as a Lead Installer

  • Working knowledge of local inspection codes

  • EPA certification and Maryland HVAC License must be active

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and access attics/crawlspaces

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Must pass background check and drug screen

  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
