HVAC license and is able to purchase freon is a MUST.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly- Install and connect HVAC components, such as compressors, motors, condensers, and piping.
- Follow blueprints and design specifications to install new HVAC systems.
- Inspect HVAC systems and components to identify potential problems or areas for improvement.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questionsSkills.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system malfunctions.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repair work.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical information clearly.
- Experience in property maintenance or field service is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude to perform hands-on work.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Steel toe boots required.
