This technical role combines hands-on expertise with advanced diagnostic skills to keep complex HVAC systems running at peak performance. Working under the guidance of the Chief Engineer, you'll monitor sophisticated building automation systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues before they impact building operations. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail directly support JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services and maintaining comfortable, energy-efficient environments.What your day-to-day will look like:Monitor and operate HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, RTUs, and building automation systemsPerform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on plant equipment with meticulous attention to detailTroubleshoot utility system equipment using diagnostic tools and computer-based monitoring systemsConduct chemical analysis and water treatment system maintenance to optimize system performanceComplete work order documentation, maintain accurate records, and update system status in real-timeResearch and order supplies and equipment parts to support ongoing maintenance operationsMaintain assigned areas of responsibility while collaborating closely with the Chief EngineerRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of related HVAC experienceWorking knowledge of boiler systems, chilled water systems, and rooftop units (RTUs)Ability to understand and operate diagnostic equipment and computer-based building systemsPhysical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier equipment handling tasksStrong attention to detail and ability to work under close supervisionFlexibility to work variable shifts as operational needs requireBasic computer skills for system monitoring and documentationPreferred Qualifications:EPA certification for refrigerant handlingExperience with building automation systems and alarm monitoringKnowledge of water treatment systems and chemical analysis proceduresFamiliarity with HVAC troubleshooting and repair techniquesPrevious experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenanceAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and system schematicsLocation: Tuskegee, ALWork Shift: 08 Hour Day - 2nd Shift/Swing ShiftThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
