Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience setting up (standing up) Azure Coding Infrastructure for a team of software engineers alongside experience setting up differently configured-customizations of Azure for different software engineering projects and phases of the SDLC.
• Must Have Experience working in a CI/CD type environment ideally for a software company or for a company with multiple versions-iterations of their core software product.
• Recent or Earlier Career Experience working in a Software Engineering Role before of during your Azure-DevOps role.
• GitHub Experience setting up and supporting (customizing and configuring) GitHub (GitHub Actions) for a mixture of code builds and releases, CI/CD, code testing and deployment, code repositories. pull requests, issue tracking, code reviews, and various team collaboration.
• Experience creating and implementing new DevOps roadmaps in terms of SDLC timing and collaboration for testing, Q.A., Code Deployments, version control and related areas.
• Experience with Selenium (or another automated code testing tool) is a strong plus.
• Experience configuring and managing Azure Cloud infrastructures
• Solid Scripting Skills in PowerShell and Python.
• Experience implementing, updating and maintaining Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working as the CI/CD Pipeline go-to person....experience building co-mingled/co-dependent Cloud Environments for code deployment and for the development team to code and test on
• Azure DevOps: should be well versed in most of these: Azure Pipeline, Azure Boards, Azure Monitor, Azure MicroServices (including Azure Services Fabric, container orchestration, using visual studio as an IDE, deployments while using Docker containers), AzureRM, AzureAD, AzureDevOps, AzureAPI, AzureStack
• Experience working in an Agile-Spring Environment.
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub alongside other tools (such as maven, jenkins, chef, ansible or others)
• Experience creating-writing playbooks to deploy, config., and manage cloud environments including backups, patching and customizations

Pluses:

• Earlier career experience working as a Software Engineer or Software Q.A. Engineer.
• Experience with YAML (or bash) for GitHub Actions
• Current or past experience with Jenkins (experience moving code from Jenkins to GitHub within Azure is a strong plus)
• Experience working in a similar role surrounding supply chain, industrial, manufacturing or logistics 'Software' applications
• Azure training or certifications
