Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a Physical Therapist(PT). We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Pella, IA, 50219

Assignment Start Date: 11/18/2024

13 weeks | Days | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours guaranteed weekly

Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering physical therapy for modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Coordinates, delegates, and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff. Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains department performance versus budget controls, and takes appropriate action to remain within budget guidelines. Ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy is preferred.

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or equivalent.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• Current Iowa Physical Therapy licensure is required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after the hire date.

Shift: M-F DAYS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of physical therapy machine operation, maintenance and repairs of same.
