Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a Surgical/OR Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Decorah, IA 52101

Assignment Start Date: 10/25/2024

13 weeks | Days | 8-hour shift | 40 hours weekly with 36 hours guaranteed

Surgical Technologists are responsible for providing technical assistance during surgical procedures and have knowledge of and utilize appropriate protocols relating to scrubbing and assisting in the surgery of patients of all ages. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be a team player.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Previous Operating Room experience preferred.

Education:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• State of Iowa Mandatory reporter training
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
• American Heart Association BLS required

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: The position is primarily 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 3:30 pm. Hours may fluctuate slightly based on surgery caseload (as early as 6:00 am).

• Position includes on-call rotation, approximately 1 night per every 2-week pay period, and every 5th to 6th weekend.
• Holiday Call rotation included. Must stay within 30 minutes of the clinic when on-call
