In Office / On Site FT Position Experience Level: Mid to Senior (Minimum 5 Years) Job Description: Schrader Pacific, Altavista, VA, is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries Programmer Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM i (AS/400) systems, with proven expertise in CL (Control Language) and RPG (Report Program Generator) programming. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing and developing programs, and supporting existing applications on the IBM iSeries platform. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM iSeries platform using RPG and CL. Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing systems. Collaborate with business analysts, end-users, and other IT team members to deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Document program code and system processes. Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with IBM iSeries (AS/400) programming. Proficiency in CL programming and RPG (RPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE) . Strong understanding of IBM iSeries architecture and tools. Experience with DB2/400 and SQL on the iSeries platform. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
