Icam Solutions Engineer Apply
Epic Scientific is seeking an experienced ICAM Solutions Engineer to support the US Army's tactical network. This role focuses on researching, testing, and implementing Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions to address critical gaps in security and authentication. The ideal candidate will collaborate with technical teams and leadership while contributing to policies, procedures, and DoD-level ICAM initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on research to identify and test ICAM solutions for the US Army's tactical network.
- Collaborate closely with government and technical leads, as well as team members, to address ICAM gaps based on customer needs.
- Provide input on policies and procedures related to ICAM within the US Army and contribute to DoD-level ICAM meetings.
- Oversee Army Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) testing events, in coordination with the DoD PKI Program Management Office.
Requirements
- Education/Experience: University degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience with a minimum of 7 years in a related field.
- Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Programming Expertise:
- Proficiency with Clojure 1.11 and Clojure CLI tool.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an intermediate or senior Clojure developer.
- Frontend experience with ClojureScript, React, or similar rendering libraries.
- Backend experience with functional programming libraries like Ring and REST API design using the reitit library.
- Understanding of Java is helpful.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) Experience:
- Expertise in IAM frameworks, including single sign-on, two-factor/multifactor authentication, and privileged access management.
- Knowledge of IAM processes, policies, and technologies.
- Familiarity with TLS certificate client authentication.
- Database and API Experience:
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and next.jdbc library is helpful.
- Good understanding of REST API concepts.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Docker and Git.
- Familiarity with virtual machines and Linux environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with Certificate Authorities and DoD Registration Authority.
- Knowledge of ICAM's role in Zero Trust Architecture.
- Experience in software development and scripting.
