We are looking for an Ignition Support Analyst for a Pharmaceutical Company!Job Details:6–12-month contract, possible extensionFully RemoteW2 position with benefitsJob Description:The Ignition support Analyst will partner with system architects/SME's, automation engineers, business representatives, and other personas to help design, test, and support integrations and manufacturing applications built in the Ignition platform.In this role, you will be responsible for:Collaborating with team members to document user and functional requirementsTesting solutions in Ignition based on IT and OT policies/proceduresSupporting the Ignition platform, its interfaces, and hosted applications globallyAnalyzing potential defects and recommending workarounds/fixes to reported incidentsIdentifying potential opportunities to improve the Ignition platform and internal business processes per siteTools and skills you will need in this role:Experience using Ignition (including Core platform, Perspective, Web Development, and Enterprise Administration Modules)Scripting knowledge using Python, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQLExcellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skillsBuilding and maintaining positive relationshipsTime management and prioritizationExperience working with digital transformation/Industry 4.0 efforts is a plusIgnition Gold or Core certification is a plusJob Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, etc. or related2-3 years of proven experience working with IgnitionAbility to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve application-related issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Experience using Python, Java.Hands-on experience with SQL and database technologies.
