Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a CT Technologist (Multimodality). We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Harvard, IL 60033

Assignment Start Date: 1/8/2025

13 weeks | Nights | 8-hour shift | 40 hours guaranteed per week

Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques. Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

• Performs diagnostic CT procedures.
• If assigned radiographer job duties, also performs radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams.
• Corroborates patient's clinical history with the procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist.
• Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
• Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
• Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort; immobilizes patient as necessary.
• Practices aseptic technique as necessary,
• Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed; starts and maintains intravenous access.
• Initiates basic life support action when necessary.
• Provides patient education.
• Provides input for supply and equipment decisions, and maintains control of inventory and supplies for assigned area.
• Provides practical instruction for students and partners.
• Observes universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers.
• Applies principles of patient safety during all aspects of procedures, including assisting and transporting patients.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have at least 2 years of CT experience required

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• ARRT Radiography registration required
• ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required

EMR System: EPIC Knowledge or experience desired

Shift: Monday to Friday Night Shift Hours (11:00P - 7:00A); May be required to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take calls. May be asked to flex hours and overtime as necessary to provide quality patient care at assigned sites(s).
