Il Interventional Radiology Technologist Days Calls Apply
Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for Interventional Radiology Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Carbondale, IL 62901
Assignment Start Date: 3/3/2025
13 weeks| Days | 8/10-hour shift | 36 hours guaranteed
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please get in touch with a recruiter for full details.This is an imaging position and NOT an RN. It requires an active x-ray license and must have experience in either interventional radiology or cath lab.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
- Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
- Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
- Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
- Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
- Performs office duties as needed.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
- Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
- Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience(Cath lab experience easily train someone who has cath lab experience)
- Siemens IR suite experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience is required
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:
- An active Illinois license from IEMA and a board-certified x-ray technologist through ARRT is required
- An interventional radiology certification is not necessary.
- BLS/BCLS is required
EMR System: EPIC knowledge/experience preferred
Shift: Open to 8's or 10's We are looking to add either a Saturday or Sunday call soon. Calls Up to 10 days per month when fully staffed. That won't happen for a long time so it'll be 2 days per week for now
