Promotes and actively participates in the C.A.T.C.H. initiativeRegulatory Requirements: Successfully complete an accredited MLT/CLS, MT/MLS program and have an Associates or Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, Applied Science, chemical, physical or biological science Successful completion of the ASCP/AMT registry exam.Recommended one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions Other Skills and Abilities Ability to remember words, numbers, procedures and pieces of information, Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time with good organizational skills, judgment and technical skills, Analytical skills necessary in order to interpret routine tests, recognize abnormal test results and troubleshoot equipment, Knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served, Demonstrate patience, tact, professionalism and enthusiasm
