Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has openings for a Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Carbondale, IL 62901
Assignment Start Date: 1/20/2025
13 weeks | Days | 10-hour shift | 40 hours with 36 hours guaranteed per week
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please get in touch with a recruiter for full details.Job duties will include but are not limited to administering moderate sedation, monitoring patients during procedures, and assisting with procedure setup and breakdown. Procedures include but are not limited to Left heart cath, right heart cath, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, AAAs, TAVR, and Device implants.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual care plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
- Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
- Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- A minimum of two(2) years of Cath Lab RN experience is required
- More than 2 years of Cath Lab experience is preferred
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:
- A current Illinois Registered Nurse license is required
- Current BLS/BCLS are required.
EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
Shift: four 10-hour shifts (7 am to 5:30 pm) with rotating days off throughout the month. Call will be one weekday per week and one weekend every 4 weeks
