Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a RN - Medical/Surgical. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Rockford, IL 61103
Assignment Start Date: 10/30/2024
13 weeks | Nights | 12-hour shift | 36 hours guaranteed weekly

- Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice acts.
- Documents according to standards of care.
- Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction.
- Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
- Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
- Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have Medical-Surgical RN experience;
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:
- IL RN licensure required
- Must have CPR, ACLS & NIHSS
EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
Shift: Nights, 7P - 7A. Every other weekend & holiday and 12-hour shifts (Nights 7P-7A) required
Float Requirement: Foat between two of our Medical Surgical units
Vaccinations: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and the flu vaccine.
