The position requires knowledge of procedures and policies related to diagnostic X-ray, CT, US and MRI. Functions as a team member/will perform various administrative duties, assisting technologist with paperwork. Assist in room/equipment prep/set up/positioning of patients/scheduling and transportation of paperwork and or/patients to expedite exams. Assistants may need to research safety check lists and require working in a highly magnetic field. They may act as chaperones during exams.Job Requirements- Ability to speak, read and write English- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent/Associate Degree- One (1) year experience required- Possess core competencies/CNA or Medical Assistant preferred- Computer literate/PACS, Medical terminology required/Spanish preferred/Knowledge of EPIC, PACS/RIS/Power injector/Radiation MRI safety- Professional demeanor/customer service a must- Good attendance and punctuality requiredMontefiore New Rochelle Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
