Responsibilities:
- Provide care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Assist with mobility and lifting as needed
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Document client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of systems for providing care to individuals with special needs
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and monitor health conditions
- Proficiency in meal preparation and understanding of dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with working in a home care environment
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility as required
- Knowledge of social work principles and techniques for providing emotional support
- First aid certification is a plus

This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities. The caregiver must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. The ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks is essential.
