An in-home care provider is needed for a 35 year old male in a manual wheelchair located in Spanish Fork, UT. Flexible schedule and willing to work with your schedule. Mileage reimbursement for running errands for the client. This job is ideal for students 18+, CNA's, those with a medical background, etc. Responsibilities Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Light meal preparation. Use mobile patient lift (wheels with sling) to ensure safe transfers in and out of bed, toilet, shower chair. Travel with client via Paratransit to run errands/grocery shopping as necessary. Run errands/grocery shop for client. Light household tasks, such as washing bed sheets, making the bed, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming bedroom. Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards. Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are extremely preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids effectively Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Additional Information Looking for someone who is kind, patient and reliable to help improve the client's quality of life.
