Tutor Me Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate tutors to join our high-dosage tutoring program. As a tutor, you will play a critical role in closing the achievement gap by providing personalized, high-impact instruction to students in need. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, personalized instruction to students in 1-on-1 or small group settings, both in-person and online.
- Deliver curriculum aligned with state standards and classroom instruction to reinforce and enhance student learning.
- Assess student needs and progress through research-backed assessments and implement targeted learning strategies to address areas of improvement.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, teachers, and school staff to foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress through detailed progress reports, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Encourage a growth mindset in students, building their confidence, resilience, and love for learning.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that respects the diverse needs and backgrounds of all students.
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to continuously improve instructional practices and stay current with educational strategies.

Requirements
Job requirements:
- Ability to commute to/from Milpitas, CA REQUIRED
- Must clear FBI-DOJ background check that is taken in-person
- Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
- Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Negative TB Test Result
