We are partnered with a cutting-edge indoor agriculture company pioneering advanced vertical farming technology to grow premium fruit year-round, without pesticides. Their engineering team drives innovation through automation and robotics, delivering scalable, reliable solutions for next-generation farms.



What You’ll Do

  • Lead design, development, and commissioning of automation and robotics systems, including PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and safety systems.
  • Program and optimize robotic operations and control logic (Allen-Bradley, Ignition, Yaskawa/Fanuc/KUKA).
  • Design, model, and prototype automation systems using 2D/3D CAD; support integration with SCADA and data acquisition tools.
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, and Plant Science teams to define system requirements.
  • Manage vendors and integrators, oversee testing, and troubleshoot systems onsite as needed.
  • Lead small teams and mentor engineers, providing guidance and performance support.



What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Robotics Engineering.
  • 3+ years in industrial automation, and system integration.
  • Strong PLC/HMI skills (Allen-Bradley required), motion control, pneumatics, SCADA, and industrial networking.
  • Hands-on experience with robot end effector design, CAD, prototyping, and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in Python or C++.


Nice-to-Haves

  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and communication skills.
  • Startup mindset with focus, ownership, and bias for action.
