Position: Industrial Electrician
Placement Type: Full-time Direct Placement
Pay Range: $30-$43 depending on experience + Profit Sharing
Shifts: 12 Hour rotating shift swings
Location: Niagara Falls, New York, USA
We’re hiring an Electrician for a leading manufacturing facility!
Our client is a major player in the industrial sector and prioritizes people, safety, and long-term development. Here’s what you can expect:
Day-Day Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled, reactive, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and electrical systems
- Maintain and repair high-speed automated machinery and related components
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and distribution systems up to 4160V
- Work with and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
- Use tools such as multimeters, thermal imaging devices, meggers, and electrical testing equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Troubleshoot control loops, motor controls, timers, counters, sequencers, and other automation components
Must haves:
- 3 years minimum of electrical maintenance experience
- Experience with installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and electrical system repair
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings and schematics
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC controls, VSDs/VFDs, and instrumentation
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Nice to have:
- Experience with SAP, Siemens PCS-7, or similar systems is an asset
