Join our dynamic mining and metals operation in Gouverneur, NY, as we search for an experienced Industrial Electrician Supervisor to oversee our talented electrical team at our underground facility. This prime location not only provides easy access to the stunning Thousand Islands and Lake Ontario but also places you just a few hours' drive from the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and vibrant Canadian cities, including Montreal and Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the electrical team to achieve excellence.
• Strategically plan, prioritize, and delegate daily work assignments.
• Manage inventory, coordinate task schedules, and procure essential materials for ongoing projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLC panels, motors, drives, fans, VFDs, transformers, pumps, and generators.
• Work with a range of electrical systems such as 4-20 mA, 4160, 13.8, AC up to 480V, 5kVA, and DC voltages.
• Skillfully read and interpret technical blueprints.
• Provide hands-on support to the electrical team for both underground and surface operations.
• Cultivate expertise in hoisting and crushing operations for effective troubleshooting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of applicable industrial electrical experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and other departments.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Expertise in PLC systems, along with DC/AC/Drive systems.
• Ability to accurately follow both written and verbal instructions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Must carry out all responsibilities in a safe and responsible manner, without endangering others.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
